Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles may be unavailable for the team in Week 8 after he suffered a concussion in a 17-3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, according to Sports.

The Colts have lost wide receiver Reggie Wayne for the season. The Pro Bowl pass-catcher suffered an ACL tear in the Colts win over the previously-undefeated Broncos. The Colts will likely have to add a wide receiver to fill Wayne’s spot on the roster.

Texans linebacker Brain Cushing’s season is also over. The former USC Trojan suffered a broken fibula and a torn LCL on Sunday night against the Chiefs. He will have surgery on Tuesday, according to NFL Media’s Albert Breer. Running back Arian Foster also suffered a mild hamstring injury, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

The Jaguars were able to avoid injuries against the Chargers, while the Titans invited back quarterback Jake Locker from a hip injury against the 49ers. The Titans also failed to register any major injuries.

“I saw Nick after the game, he seems like he’s doing well,” Eagles Cheap MLB Baseball Jerseys head coach Chip Kelly said in his post-game press conference. “There’s a protocol and a system you go through before he’s cleared. He says he feels good so we’ll see how it goes as the week progresses.”

Foles, 24, earned his first start of the 2013 season after Michael Vick suffered a hamstring injury in Week 5. Starting in Vick’s place, Foles earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors after he passed for 296 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in a 31-20 victory over the Cheap Michael Jordan Jerseys For Kids Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, he completed just 11-of-29 passes for 80 yards against the Cowboys in Week 7.

After leaving the game late, Foles was replaced by rookie quarterback Matt Barkley who threw three interceptions. Kelly said after Sunday’s game that the team would sign another quarterback if injuries force the team’s hand.

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray will miss Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a sprained knee, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the team is losing faith in him as its franchise running back.

Murray has a history of injuries due Cheap Paintball Jerseys to his running style, and the Cowboys are understandably having a tough time relying on him each and every week. Dallas drafted Joseph Randle in the 2013 NFL Draft, but Rapoport said to keep an eye on the Cowboys at the trading deadline. They may look to add another running back.

Adam Schefter reported that the Cowboys are projected to be a league-high $31 million over the salary cap in 2014. He added that one executive called Dallas’ cap situation a “train wreck.”

With the Cowboys in dire need of cutting cap space, and Murray constantly in and out of the lineup, it makes sense for the Cowboys to make a move at the deadline.

The Rationale: In a word, the Chiefs’ defense. OK, in three words – the Chiefs defense. Kansas City has been turning out destructive efforts on a weekly basis, and the Chiefs have the horses to put the screws to Houston’s Case Keenum in his first career start. You can’t bank on the continuation of Houston’s absurd Pick-Six Cheap Penguins Jerseys trend on offense, but a turnover or two from Keenum isn’t a bad bet – especially if Justin Houston keeps up his strong play against Houston’s weak-link right tackle in Derek Newton.

Houston figures to bring an Arian Foster-heavy game plan into KC, and the Chiefs’ counting stats against the run still look bad after their Week Four torching by the Eagles. But Dontari Poe, Tyson Jackson and Mike DeVito should cause enough havoc to allow Derrick Johnson and Eric Berry to fly to the ball and Cheap Paintball Jerseys And Pants keep Foster from running wild, meaning that there will be a bigger load on Keenum’s shoulders than he’s ready to handle.

Time of Death: Shaun Suisham’s 42-yard field goal as time expired made the Steelers The Winningest Team Of The Last Two Weeks Championships Rings More Rings Yo.

Cause of Death: You see this running game, Baltimore? It’s NBA Jerseys Cheap missing about five different pieces and leaking oil and gas and some other fluids that don’t even belong in a car. It averages a league-worst 2.8 yards per carry. Of the 26 runs it had against Pittsburgh, 10 gained less than two yards, and that’s better than your average of 12 runs for a yard or worse in a game, which is also worst in the league. No repair shop should let you take this back out on the street.

The second-year passer went 11-of-29 for 80 yard and zero scores. Those are Andrew Walters/Ryan Lindley numbers. It was a tough game for Foles, who Troy Aikman noted several times, that he seemed uncomfortable during the game after taking several hits. The hits frankly don’t matter, as that is life in the NFL. He failed to throw with accuracy or consistency. While he was able to run the ball to some success, his day as a passer was horrific. He may not have turned the ball over, but he did allow for plenty of possessions to end without a score.

Throughout the week, I am sure we will look at the execution on both of those plays, and especially on Clabo, to try to lay blame at the offensive line’s feet. But, in a game where the Dolphins averaged 4.8 yards NFL Jerseys Free Shipping per carry, with Daniel Thomas at 5.0 yards per carry and Lamar Miller at 4.8 yards per carry, the execution does not really matter. What matters is why the coaches were putting the team in that situation?

It was apparent to most watching the game that Freeman was not ready to run Minnesota’s offense, even the extremely limited offense the Vikings attempted to use. Freeman and his receivers were not close to being in sync and New York appeared to know what play was coming at times.

Seattle improved to 3-1 on the road with a 34-22 win against Arizona. Seattle has had issues on the road in recent years, but its success while travelling this season is a big reason why the Seahawks lead the division. Seattle’s plus-75 point differential is the best in the NFC.

San Francisco has now won four in a row after a 1-2 start. Like Seattle, the 49ers Authentic NFL Cheap Jerseys picked up a nice win on the road, knocking off Tennessee. St. Louis is 3-4, but will now be forced to play without Sam Bradford for the rest of the season. The Cardinals had trouble keeping up with Seattle and are 0-3 in the division.

For the first time this season, Chip Kelly’s offense did not total at least 400 yards. This week’s game also erased whatever dim hopes you had for Nick Foles. The good news is that he did not throw an interception, and that’s all the good news. He completed 38 percent of his passes for a stunning 2.76 yards per attempt.

Newton has also gotten more players involved in the offense and isn’t focused in on Smith and tight end Greg Olsen as much. He targeted Smith and Olsen 54 percent of the time in the first four games, with that number dropping slightly to 49 percent in the last two weeks.

Instead of forcing the ball deep or to Smith or Olsen, Newton has done a better job of going through his progressions and taking what the defense is giving him. The change makes Newton more difficult to defend, and that’s without mentioning his ability as a runner.

Following a standout rookie season, Newton was widely considered to Best Quality Cheap Jerseys be the top young quarterback in the NFL. With his slight decline during his second season, and the arrival of Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III and Colin Kaepernick, many analysts quickly dropped Newton down that list. Newton was no longer the standout young quarterback, but one of a very good group, and some even had him fifth on that list.

The New England Patriots have won the last six meetings between the teams, last winning a narrow three-point victory in week two, 13-10. It’s vital for rookie quarterback Geno Smith to keep his confidence after a disappointing two interception game that allowed a Pittsbugh Steelers’ victory. There have been ups and downs for Smith this season. At times he looks like the player who was once regarded as a top-five pick in the 2013 draft, while others where he’s looked lost and unable to diagnose opposing defenses. The Patriots are flying high with a host of lesser-known weapons and rookies, but still having great success this season.

The San Francisco 49ers have gone Cheap Jerseys Stitched back to the run, and the results are showing as they are riding a three-game winning streak. Frank Gore has rushed for 335 yards over his past three games and quarterback Colin Kaepernick has thrown for five touchdowns and one interception during the win streak. Vernon Davis is coming off a huge 180-yard, two-touchdown game against the Cardinals.

The Titans have struggled since quarterback Jake Locker went down with a hip injury. Tennessee will have a handful in the tenacious San Francisco defense, and that doesn’t bode too well for a team that has turned the football over five times in its past two losses.

The Green Bay Packers can ill afford any more injuries to a depleted team as they go for their third straight win. Both Randall Cobb and James Jones left Week 6 early with injuries, leaving just Jarrett Boykin and Jordy Nelson as the healthy wide receivers. Eddie Lacy stepped up to take some pressure off of Aaron Rodgers, rushing for 120 yards in a 19-17 win over the Ravens.

The Browns three-game win streak ended in a dubious fashion when they lost 31-17 to the Lions last week, as the Browns were outscored by the Lions 24-0 in the second half. Wide Cheap Jerseys Sunglasses receiver Josh Gordon continues his strong play, finishing with 126 yards on seven receptions in the loss.

Here is a wrestler shooting fireworks off his own body on top of a car

If you saw WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic last year, you’ve seen Kota Ibushi showcase his in-ring skills. Or maybe you’ve seen him in New Japan Pro Wrestling before that.

But Ibushi has an absurd side that casual wrestling fans haven’t seen much of. He has wrestled a blow up doll and barely won. Ibushi has also channeled his inner BMX rider in a match and launched himself at his opponent.

But yo, Ibushi is playing with fireworks on top of a car now. Not only that, but he’s bold enough to direct them towards himself and then jump off the car for a moonsault.

You should never try wrestling moves at home, but never in a million years should you try doing what Ibushi just did. This is awesome (please don’t do this).

Had the Wildcats defeated West Virginia in Friday’s Big 12 Tournament semifinals, they probably wouldn’t be on this list. As it stands now they are, and their dreadful non-conference schedule might not give them much hope in the Committee room. The Wildcats’ best non-Big 12 performance came in a loss to Maryland in Brooklyn, while their best actual win, over Colorado State in Denver, pales in comparison. January’s SEC/Big 12 Challenge didn’t help matters — K-State lost its game at Tennessee by 12.

Three Top-25 wins, with two over Baylor coming away from Manhattan, might be enough. But K-State’s inability to schedule decent games in November and December look likely to be its undoing.

Saturday’s loss to Arkansas in the SEC Tournament semifinals means the Commodores are likely to be the NCAA tournament’s first-ever 15-loss at-large entrant. Rhode Island’s win in Sunday afternoon’s Atlantic 10 final means Vanderbilt might be headed to Dayton for the second consecutive March.1

Would Romo want to walk into that rebuilding effort? Doubtful.

Just like the Bears, the 49ers can afford Romo. But just like the Bears, the 49ers are far from being a winner.

Colin Kaepernick didn’t even play too poorly for San Francisco and it wasn’t nearly enough to make up for the NFL’s worst defense and an offense that was severely lacking in weapons to work with.

Would Romo want to walk into that rebuilding effort? Doubtful.

Seconds before the final buzzer had even sounded in Miami, Nowitzki is running off the floor. His 10 fourth-quarter points had made sure Dallas was crowned 2011 champion, but before the trophy is presented, Nowitzki needs a moment. He isn’t going to let the world see him cry.

A Mavericks public relations official follows him into the locker room. We have to go, he tells Nowitzki, knowing the television cameras could only wait so long. You have to receive the Finals MVP trophy, he continued.

“Give it to somebody else,” Nowitzki remembers replying.

By 2005, a 26-year-old Nowitzki had already tallied 11,106 career points. That season brought his epochal game-tying layup in Game 7 against the Spurs, as well as heartbreak in the 2006 finals. But it starts on a lighter note that preseason, when Knicks rookie David Lee is convinced he needed to show something against the established Nowitzki.

“David Lee just thought it was the most important thing to guard Dirk, and Dirk just torched him,” Cuban says.

Nowitzki’s reaction, in Cuban’s recollection, is, “Who the fuck is David Lee Roth, and what’s he doing here?”

For what it’s worth, Lee remembered this game well but says that Cuban has embellished it a bit — in classic Cuban fashion.2

NHL Mad On-Line: Josh Ho-Sang deserves respect for wearing Mario Lemieux’s number

Welcome to SB Nation NHL’s new “Mad On-Line” series, where we find something trivial the hockey world is mad about and tell you whether you should be, too. Usually the answer is no. Spoiler alert.

Josh Ho-Sang was controversial before his NHL career even began. At one point in the Arizona State game, he tried a nifty but ill-advised behind the back pass to save the ball underneath his own basket, and it led to a pair of Sun Devil free throws. Seconds later, he stood with his foot over the lane line, daring an official to call a lane violation.

He gets away with these things because he’s Lonzo Ball, the best player on one of the best teams in the country. You may have seen him pulling up from 30 feet to hit a dagger three-pointer, or flying high for alley-oops once not thought to be possible.

He was widely considered one of the best players in the 2014 NHL entry draft. And yet, 27 teams passed on him before the New York Islanders took him at 28th overall. Why?

Because he’s flashy … to the point that his maturity came into question. The NHL’s culture is sort of archaic. The NBA and NFL are wildly popular because they embrace the personalities of their star players. Hockey people boast about it being the ultimate team sport. Which might be true. But that doesn’t sell tickets.

Bill Daly says the NHL has learned about not marketing individual rivalry since Sid/Ovi: “Our sport is the ultimate team sport.”、

The city of Los Angeles loves a winner, and the legendary Pauley Pavilion — notoriously tough to fill when the home team is struggling — has been hopping since December.

The Bruins are averaging more than 10,000 fans a game at home, and the fact that they lead the conference in road attendance is evidence that their brand is just as strong as it used to be.

To watch a UCLA game now is to watch any UCLA game ever. The Bruins play in the same arena, in the same neighborhood, wearing the same uniforms they have since the 1960s.2

That’s an explosive recipe for megadeals that will have agents and players smiling wide.

The most common question I heard in Indianapolis from executives: What will teams do with all of this cap space?

One theory: All of the cap space will encourage more trading. There aren’t great free agents available, but teams should have more salary flexibility to take on big contracts in trades, or deal for players wanting new contracts.

According to, 12 teams have more than $40 million in cap space. Even after applying franchise tags, just nine teams have less than $20 million to spend. In short: the salary cap shouldn’t get in the way of teams accomplishing their goals this offseason. This is a dramatic change from where the league was just a few years ago. But will teams be willing to rewrite the pay scales on these players?

There are fewer quality players about to hit free agency than ever before because teams have done a better job re-signing their own talent. All this cap space with so few top-level players available will test the discipline of general managers. That’s an explosive recipe for megadeals that will have agents and players smiling wide.

But 99 percent of the defenders Shaheen faced at the college level won’t spend time in a NFL training camp. So scouts were eager to see him in the context of this tight-end group, which is one of the most athletic and talented crops of tight ends the combine has ever seen.

And Shaheen worked out like he belonged.

At 278 pounds, the Ashland product ran a 4.79 40-yard dash with impressive results in the vertical (32.5 inches) and broad jump (10-foot-2).

And even more impressive, Shaheen was clean and efficient during the positional drills, especially the gauntlet, where he snatched the football and stayed controlled down the line.

Already considered a top-100 draft pick, Shaheen only helped himself in the eyes of NFL teams and it shouldn’t surprise anyone if he finds his way into the top 50 picks.2

Lane Kiffin reportedly hiring his father, Monte, after their USC split

Lane Kiffin has been at his new FAU job for a new months now, and his staff has come together, featuring offensive coordinator Kendall Briles, the son of fired Baylor head coach Art Briles, and his brother Chris as defensive coordinator, who was a longtime defensive assistant at Ole Miss with Hugh Freeze.

Now, it looks like Kiffin has added yet another family member to his staff, and it’s one that he’s worked with before. On Friday, ESPN reported that Monte Kiffin would be joining FAU’s staff, but what his job title will be is still unclear.

Kiffin’s exact role is not yet known. His hiring was first reported by Sporting News.

But it was March 15, 1994, and he had already picked up 25 league goals, as well as three in the cups. By this point he was just shy of 100 career goals for Southampton and Blackburn across all competitions, and was 41 goals into his eventual Premier League record of 260.

Now, at the age of 23 years, seven months and two days, Harry Kane has played across League One and the Championship, but mostly in the Premier League. He’s played and scored for Tottenham Hotspur, Leyton Orient, Leicester City, and Millwall, as well as failing to score for Norwich City. And thanks to his hat-trick against Stoke City last weekend, he’s scored 102 goals so far, including 66 in the Premier League.

We’ve dealt with Curry slumping this season, and it looked like he had broken out if it just fine over the past month. In fact, Kevin Durant helped facilitate Curry getting his magic back by taking on a slightly lesser role. But that was all last month — now, it seems, Curry and Thompson are stacking up bricks faster than any terrible cliche I could finish this sentence with.

So what’s our conclusion — that the Warriors are bad, overrated and should blow the team up to tank while there’s still time left to do so? Well, no, that’s not it. Let’s remember how talented Golden State actually is for a moment here.2
